Morgan, Brown & Joy Continues to Grow with Addition of Associate Adam J. Mandell

Boston labor and employment law firm Morgan, Brown & Joy announces that Adam J. Mandell has joined the firm as an associate. Mandell represents employers in a variety of labor and employment matters. In his litigation practice, he defends employers against discrimination, sexual harassment, wage and hour violations, retaliation and contract disputes at the administrative, state and federal levels. In addition to his litigation practice, Mandell counsels employers on a wide range of workplace matters including the preparation of employee handbooks, hiring, terminations, discipline, internal investigations, leaves of absence, benefits compliance and reasonable accommodation.

Prior to joining the firm, Mandell gained extensive litigation experience at a small law firm where he successfully litigated employment cases for public schools, towns, state agencies and healthcare organizations. His previous experience includes advising public schools, colleges and universities on complying with state and federal employment and education laws.

Mandell earned his J.D. (cum Laude) from the University of South Carolina, where he was the editor for the school’s Journal of Law and Education. He a member of the Massachusetts and South Carolina Bars and permitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina.

Morgan, Brown & Joy continues to expand its ranks. This announcement follows the firm’s recent notice that it hired Danielle Jurema Lederman as an associate.
