Morgan, Brown & Joy’s Jeffrey T. Collins to Serve as Faculty for NITA Program “Building Trial Skills: Boston”
Morgan, Brown & Joy counsel Jeffrey T. Collins will serve as a faculty member for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy’s (NITA) program, “Building Trial Skills: Boston,” from December 5 to 9, 2022. For the fifth year, Collins alongside fellow faculty members, will provide expert insights and personalized coaching on trial advocacy skills to attendees during the program’s educational mock jury trials. Participants will receive live critiques on their simulated trial performance and attend faculty-led lectures on trial advocacy skills and techniques.
Collins is an experienced trial lawyer and litigator who represents management in all aspects of employment law, including advice, counseling and litigation in state and federal courts, as well as before administrative agencies. His practice involves working closely with clients to provide practical advice on hiring, discipline, termination, personnel policies, discrimination, retaliation, leave, contract disputes, and wage and hour compliance. Collins has also taught litigation and trial advocacy for years at the National Attorneys General Training & Research Institute. Most recently, he served as the Deputy Chief of the Government Bureau’s Trial Division, where he was responsible for the handling and supervision of some of the most complex, high profile cases at the Attorney General’s Office.
