Morgan, Brown & Joy’s Aaron A. Spacone Selected for the BBA’s 2022-2023 Public Interest Leadership Program Class
Morgan, Brown & Joy attorney Aaron A. Spacone has been named to the Boston Bar Association’s (BBA) 2022-2023 Public Interest Leadership Program (PILP) Class. This unique and selective program serves as a platform for the next generation of Boston lawyers to learn from and connect with leaders in Boston’s legal, business and public service sectors and gain the critical skills to grow as an effective advocate and voice in the community.
PILP promotes civic engagement and public service by advancing the leadership role of lawyers in service to their community, their profession, and the Commonwealth. The program attracts a diverse group of talented, motivated attorneys who have graduated law school within the last ten years and demonstrated a commitment to pro bono and public service. After completing the 12-month program, graduates enter a growing network of over 200 accomplished alumni who provide mentoring and support to their successors.
Spacone represents employers in a wide variety of labor and employment matters. As an employment litigator, he defends employers against claims related to workplace discrimination, retaliation, and sexual harassment, among others. Spacone also provides counsel to employers regarding daily workplace matters, including the preparation of employee handbooks, hiring, wages, discipline, termination, and leave.
