Morgan, Brown & Joy Adds Jacob Thaler As an Associate
Boston labor and employment law firm Morgan, Brown & Joy announces that Jacob “Jack” Thaler has joined the firm as an associate. Thaler counsels employers in all labor and employment law matters, including employer-employee relationships, wage and hour laws, breach of contract, severance negotiations, non-competition agreements, discrimination, sexual harassment, and retaliation. Thaler also has experience advising clients on compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), as well as with reviewing and updating employee handbooks and policies to align with the often-shifting employment laws.
Prior to joining the firm, Thaler gained experience as an employment and business lawyer with a small law firm in southeastern Massachusetts. In this position, he litigated many employment and commercial disputes and counseled both employees and small business clients on severance agreements and restrictive covenants upon hiring and termination. Thaler’s well-rounded experience also includes advising small business owners on compliance with state and federal employment laws.
Thaler earned his J.D. from Boston College Law school and a B.A. from Northeastern University (magna cum laude).
