MB&J Named as one of the “Go-To Law Firms of the Top U.S. Companies”

MB&J is proud to announce that it has been named by Federated Department Stores as the company’s “Go-To” law firm in the areas of Labor and Employment law and Litigation.  MB&J will appear in the May 15, 2006 issue of Fortune Magazine, which will contain the full directory of all firms chosen as Go-To Law Firms by various companies.

The Go-To Law Firms are the outside counsel that the Fortune 500 general counsel turn to in the areas of litigation, intellectual property, corporate transactions, corporate governance, and labor & employment. The Go-To Law Firms are printed in the Directory of In-House Law Departments at the Top 500 Companies, published by Corporate Counsel magazine. The Directory provides data on: the Fortune 500; each company’s General Counsel; Chief In-House Counsel in five practice areas; and the outside counsel that companies turn to for assistance in the same practice areas – their Go-To Law Firms.  The firms named in the “go-to” directory represent less than 1/2 of 1% of all the firms in the U.S. and abroad.
