Joseph P. McConnell Quoted in AP News

Morgan, Brown & Joy partner Joseph P. McConnell was recently quoted in the AP News article, “Dartmouth Tells NLRB That Basketball Players Are Students – For Real – Not Employees.”

In a recent case, lawyers for Dartmouth College argued that the school’s basketball players should not be considered “employees.” This article highlighted the case as well as the recent National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) hearing to determine if the college team should be allowed to unionize.
