Morgan, Brown & Joy Managing Partner Jaclyn Kugell will speak at the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education’s (MCLE) 50 Points of Law – Employment Law Program, August 1, 2019 in Boston, MA. As part of a series honoring MCLE’s 50th anniversary, Kugell will co-present, “Major Developments & Traps for the Unwary.” Her session will address the legal issues and events that have reshaped employment law over the last decade, including:
- The New World of Non-Competition Agreements in Massachusetts
- Changing Consideration in Discrimination Law
- Continued Developments in the Universe of Paid Leave and Wage and Hour Law
Kugell will also provide welcome remarks and participate in the “Ask the Experts” session.
Kugell is the Chair of Morgan Brown & Joy’s Management Committee, representing employers in employment litigation matters in Massachusetts Courts, United States Federal District Courts including Georgia, Kentucky, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Ohio and Rhode Island, and the United States Court of Appeals for the First and Eleventh Circuits.
