Morgan, Brown & Joy attorney Andrea Evans Zoia will speak at the Northeastern University School of Law (NUSL) Annual Labor and Employment Program on November 29, 2018 in Boston, MA. Zoia will present on the panel, “Implications of the #Metoo Phenomenon for Attorneys Representing Plaintiffs, Unions and Employers,” which will address how to assess client stories, conduct proper investigations, protect people from formal or informal retaliation, and balance rights and obligations when the accuser and alleged harasser are both members of the union. Morgan, Brown & Joy is also sponsoring the post-panel networking reception.
Zoia trains, counsels, and represents employers related to a variety of labor and employment issues. Her litigation experience includes defending employers in a wide range of workplace claims including employment discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge, breach of contract, and wage and hour class actions.
NUSL’s Annual Labor and Employment Program provides a unique opportunity to hear from graduates, all of whom are recognized experts in the field of labor and employment law. The program provides an opportunity for attendees to gain new connections and perspectives on issues of critical importance to attorneys, judges, neutrals, government practitioners, union representatives, in-house counsel and human resources professionals.
