Overview

Lucie Gulino is an advisor to employers. As a litigator and counselor, Lucie focuses on defending clients in claims related to discrimination, retaliation, and harassment. A part of the firm’s litigation team, she handles the full spectrum of pre-litigation activities including research, discovery, due diligence, documentation, motions, witness examination, and depositions.

On behalf of clients, Lucie presents before Federal and State courts and appears before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD). With a calm demeanor and a methodical approach, Lucie listens intently to her clients’ perspectives so that she may build deeply trusting relationships that inform approaches to her representation, but also make clients feel heard and supported during emotionally charged times.

Prior to joining the firm, Lucie was an associate in a small law firm, handling employment discrimination matters on behalf of plaintiffs. In recent times, Lucie second chaired an employment discrimination case, resulting in a large jury verdict in favor of the client. Lucie’s experience also includes serving as an Equal Justice Works Fellow for the Greater Boston Legal Services. In this role, she worked on community-based public advocacy campaigns to revitalize clemency, commutation petitions, sealing and expungement cases, and CORI training.
