Damien M. DiGiovanni
Damien M. DiGiovanni is an associate at Morgan, Brown & Joy, LLP. He represents both public and private sector clients in a variety of labor and employment matters. His labor law practice includes representing employers in contract negotiation, collective bargaining, grievance arbitration, and in proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board, the Massachusetts Division of Labor Relations, and state and federal courts. In his employment law practice, Damien defends employers in a wide range of workplace claims, including employment discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge, wage and hour disputes, and restrictive covenants violations.
Damien graduated from Albany Law School (cum laude) with a concentration in Labor and Employment Law (with high honors), and received the Patrick B. McNamara Prize, which is awarded to the student with the highest academic standing in the Labor Law field. He was also a member of the Justinian Honorary Law Society and the National Order of the Barristers. While in law school, he served as a research assistant for the New York Business Law Journal, and was a national finalist at the ABA Law Student Division – Negotiation Competition. Damien worked as a summer associate at Morgan Brown & Joy, and in the general counsel’s office of the third largest behavioral advertising firm in the world. He also served as a legal intern at the New York Public Employment Relations Board, assisting several Administrative Law Judges in the drafting of Board decisions. Damien received his undergraduate degree from Fairfield University.
Damien is a member of the bar of Massachusetts, and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. He is also a member of the Labor and Employment Sections of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Boston Bar Association.
